DRAWING FASHION — London Design Museum
November 3, 2010 – March 6, 2011
Aurore de La Morinerie’s work was featured in the Drawing Fashion exhibition at the Design Museum in London, a landmark showcase celebrating the evolution of fashion illustration from the 1920s to the present day. Highlighting the medium’s enduring influence, the exhibition displayed works from some of the most significant illustrators, including Aurore's refined and evocative pieces.
The exhibition’s design, inspired by the materiality of paper, featured backlit lantern-like walls that created a sensuous ambiance. This innovative layout emphasized the subtle, intricate qualities of each drawing, allowing viewers to explore the intimate artistry and individual styles that define fashion illustration across decades.
